Jo's
professional background in writing and editing extends over 25 years, and Inspirational Romance is one of her genre passions. She loves to encourage new talent in writing, and works closely with authors to achieve the best final manuscript possible before the book goes to print. She's a hard task-master, but it's worth the sweat!
The concept of the Rose & Crown imprint has been a vision long held by Jo Holloway, the Commissioning Editor, helped by the other members of Sunpenny Publishing, along with freelance experts when necessary. We are currently expanding our network of freelancers to accommodate the rapid growth we're undertaking.
Inspirational Romance is one of the fastest growing genres in the USA. This is a genre that is not being produced (to our knowledge) by any other publisher in the UK. We are a first!
As the first imprint out of the Sunpenny Publishing Group, we are especially determined to bring the genre to the UK public, and to convince book stores and libraries across Britain that this is a category worth supporting!
Romance in all its various forms is popular with both women and men all over the world, and we believe that the spread of Christian Inspirational Romance is a wonderful and necessary step forward. The genre is clean-living, clean-spoken, intelligent stories, that not only entertain and uplift, but also plant and water seeds of faith.
We are actively seeking manuscripts, but please do read all the guidelines both here and at the Sunpenny site, so that you know how we work, before submitting.
